Artisan Pale Grey Sea Glass Pendant Necklace in Sterling Silver & 14K Gold Plate

Coastal, luminous, and completely one of a kind — this pendant is centered on a piece of genuine pale grey sea glass, sourced from collectors around the world and set by hand in my Florida studio. Each piece of sea glass has been tumbled smooth by the ocean over decades — its frosted, freeform surface a record of its journey. No two pieces are ever alike.

Byzantine Gold-Plated Setting

The sea glass sits in an oval bezel at the heart of a richly decorated diamond-shaped disc — its surface alive with hand-fabricated swirls and scroll wire work, organic granulation clusters, and ball stud accents, all finished in 14K gold plating over tarnish resistant Argentium® sterling silver. The entire composition is oxidized for dramatic contrast between the darkened recesses and the gleaming gold surfaces. A faceted green quartz is bezel-set upper left, its cool clarity a quiet counterpoint to the warmth of the gold.

The bail is designed to slip over or through a chain — giving you flexibility in how you wear it.

Handcrafted in Argentium® Sterling Silver with 14K Gold Plate

All metal is tarnish resistant Argentium® sterling silver with 14K gold plating. The back is textured and bears my maker's mark "CC" and the 925 sterling silver hallmark — your assurance of quality and authenticity.
