Botanical, luminous, and completely one of a kind — this statement pendant is built around a dichroic fused glass cabochon I made myself in my Florida studio kiln. A warm copper and orange dichroic field is scattered with yellow-green murrini — patterned glass circles with dark centers, each one a tiny window into the ancient Italian glassmaking tradition of millefiori. The result is a surface that reads like a field of sunflowers or a coral reef seen from above, shimmering and shifting with every movement. Because I fuse the glass myself, the pattern and color you see are truly one of a kind, never duplicated.
