A small abstract landscape in glass, and completely one of a kind — the cabochon is fused glass I made myself in my Florida studio kiln. Warm amber and rust give way to soft mauve and grey, with a band of lime green and turquoise running along the lower edge like a horizon line. It is set in a hand-fabricated copper bezel, with a forged copper bar sweeping across the top and a peridot green cubic zirconia bezel-set in sterling silver where the bar crosses. Because I fuse the glass myself, the color you see is truly one of a kind, never duplicated.

Every piece I make uses a combination of Argentium sterling silver, .999 fine silver bezels, and occasional sterling components — each chosen for the part it plays. The back of every piece is stamped with "925" and my registered "CC" trademark. Read about the silvers I use →
