My maker's mark "CC" is a legal Trademark
When you purchase a piece of my jewelry you may see my maker's mark "CC" somewhere on the piece. The "CC" is in a specific stylized font as illustrated in the photo. This is an officially registered trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. This means I may use a hallmark stamp (a stamp indicating metal carat). Technically speaking, only registered trademarks may use a carat stamp. In other words, if my stamp indicated 925 sterling silver or 14K gold it is traceable to my trademark. This adds value to your piece as it is confirmation that the piece was actually made by Cozy Cove Studio; in this case me!
